Elemental habitats can store two at low levels, three starting at level four, and four at level seven, while legendary and mythic habitats store a maximum number of monsters equal to its level. The number of monsters a habitat can store depends on its level. However, Legendary monsters may only be placed in legendary habitats and mythic monsters may only be placed in mythic habitats.
Hybrid monsters may be placed in either habitat corresponding to either of its elements. Monsters must be placed in a habitat which corresponds to their element. The element which a particular monster belongs to determines which of the habitats it can be placed in after being hatched. Habitats are buildings used to house monsters of the corresponding element/rarity and can be upgraded to increase its capacity for monsters and gold.
